Deadly Dreams

Deadly Dreams has been developed for the GameDev.tv Game Jam 2023 (theme: Life in 2 dimensions). 

The game is an adaptation of the TTRPG Dungeons & Business Cards (by Archmage Arispen's Lab).

I have used Clickteam Fusion 2.5 as game engine (no code needed). I have never used it before but, since in the mid '90 I bought and used Klik&Play (it can be considered, its father...or, maybe, gran gran gran father), I gave it a try. I enjoyed use it and learning a bit about its features and capabilities.

Story

Recently, there are cases of deaths occurring while sleeping.

After a busy day,  you go to sleep and... The Master controls your dreams and uses you as a character of his 2D RPG game; if you die in the game, you will die in the reality.

Are you able to find the artifact that allows you to wake up?

Guide

• Roll 4+ to hit the enemies or you take the hit
• Roll 4+ to avoid traps
• Items provide bonus
• Just click/tap on the dice to roll it

Windows verison is just an .exe file; it does not need to be installed
